The HR *3004D/3504D/4004D/*4504D range has specially been designed to work in extra heavy-duty conditions where contractors and large-scale farmers demand high reliability and performance at a low cost. Particular care has been given to fundamental criteria to allow for optimum seedbeds through choice of tools and simple adjustments. This enables the power harrows to adjust to all situations reducing maintenance and cost to a minimum. The comprehensive range, with working widths from 3.0 to 4.5m and rated for tractors up to a maximum of 184kw is fitted with a strong DUPLEX gearbox with a rear PTO as standard. The interchangeable gearwheels enable one to choose the rotor speed best adapted to the soil type and to give the desired crumbling effect. The whole driveline is protected by a cam type cutout clutch which when hitting an obstacle or foreign body causes the full release of the transmission to instantly put itself into freewheel. The headstock has been designed to provide high rigidity and resistance to distortion and on all the models the blade attachment is by means of the ‘Fast Fit’ quick release blade system. A range of compulsory equipment like crumble and packer rollers for varying working conditions and applications is available.
